BIM software for designing architectural and construction objects has been present in the construction industry for over two decades. In recent years, they have taken precedence over the classic CAD concept in all the leading design bureaus of the world, and today it is unthinkable to do large projects without the use of BIM technology. BIM is not based on a simple digital drawing, but on a complete detailed modeling of the object, which makes every change automatically registered in the bases, sections, 3D model, etc. Of course, BIM enables excellent communication with GIS, as well as programs that calculate energy and water consumption in buildings already in the project stages.
